Midtown Kids

Our desire is to partner with parents to help their children grow to love God and His Word.  Recognizing that the family is the first place of training up the next generation, we desire to come alongside the family, as part of the bigger family of God to love, train, and encourage all of our kids that they might call on the Lord for salvation and then share the gospel with the world.

Vision:  For children to love and know Jesus as their Savior and glorify Him with their life.

Mission: We come alongside families to help children love God, grow in His likeness, and live for the Kingdom.

The goal of this ministry is to produce young men and women who:

  • Love God and His Word (Colossians 2:2-3)

  • Grow in the likeness of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18)

  • Serve God in their home, church, and community (1 Peter 4:8-11)

Midtown Kids Curriculum: We are currently using curriculum from The Gospel Project for Kids which is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of the Bible. It helps children understand the Bible is not a collection of stories but one unified story--God's story of redemption.

Child Safety

The safety of the children in Midtown Kids is a high priority. We use a secure check-in system, and our volunteers are all trained and screened through Protect My Ministry. If you would like to read our Policies and Procedures, you can click here.

Family Resources

Mother's Room: Across the hall from the Midtown Kids rooms, we have a mother and baby room. It is a space designed for mother's who need to feed their baby, a quiet room for their child to nap, and also includes a changing table. Additionally, the room has a speaker that can be turned on to listen to the worship service if desired.

Kid Sermon Notes: Each week at the welcome booth there are Sermon notes for kids that are specifically designed to help kids engage with the worship service.

Weekly Children's Ministry Email: If you would like to receive a weekly Children's Ministry email, please contact Julie Lamb. The email includes information about the week's lessons and ways to continue learning and discussing God's word at home.
