Faith and Work Seminar
Fri, Apr 12th 7pm - 9pm
Midtown Church 5610 Broadway St Indianapolis, IN 46220

How does Sunday worship connect to Monday’s work? What does faith in Christ have to do with our everyday work? Work brings up all sorts of important questions because everyone imagines accomplishing something of significance in this world. The questions about how faith connects to work are personal for each individual, but also a pastoral matter for the church. One of the most helpful and liberating things I’ve ever learned and taught is a theology of work. And maybe now more than ever we as a church need clarity on our theology of work. In the past, workers could assume a Christian worldview would at least shape, in part, the goals and ethics of their workplace. And while this is still true in some places, we have witnessed in recent years a rapid shift toward secular views of the world having dominion in Western cultures and their workplaces. What is a Christian to do? Join us on April 12th from 7:00-9:00pm at Midtown Church as we discuss the eternal value of everyday work at our Faith & Work Seminar. Let’s gather to learn God’s plan for work and your place in it. Rick Whitlock Pastor of Mission and Formation rick@midtownchurchindy.org
