Corey unexpectedly became a Christian in college, at Murray State Univ. where he graduated, then moved to St. Louis and completed a master's degree at Covenant Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Before moving to Indianapolis, he founded two campus ministries with Campus Outreach at Arkansas State Univ. and Indiana State Univ. His vision was to reach unbelievers with the gospel, establish young believers in their faith, equip them through discipleship, and mobilize them for impact. His vision remains the same today: that people would grow to love Jesus more than anything else, learn to make disciples, and be compelled to reach their unbelieving friends and neighbors with the gospel. Corey and his wife, Janet, have been married since 2004 and have 3 boys.
